Pastel Rainbow Stripes NOTD

Hi everyone!
TOday I'm back again with a nail art. It's been a few weeks since had the energy and spirit to do any nail art, and it feels so good! I didn't realize that nail art has been one of those moment in my life when I have all the time for myself without having to remember how miserable or alone I am :)

Anyway, this nail art is inspire by nail28tsenwei on Instagram. Of course, mine still has a lot to improve, my lines are still pretty messy :(

 Colors used:
Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Hardener for basecoat
Etude House Look at My Cotton Candy Nails CPP501 (purple)
Etude House Color Pop Nails CGR705 (blue)
OPI Gargantuan Green Grape (green)
Etude House Look at My Cotton Candy Nails CBE101 (yellow)
Etude House Look at My Cotton Candy NailsCOR202 (orange)
Sally Hansen Complete Manicure in I Pink I Can (pink)
Revlon Super Top Speed for topcoat.

I handpainted the stripes using my striper brush, painstakingly one by one ;)

I painted both of my hands because I have a party to attend today! :D
I really like how this looks, even though the lines were supposed to be of same width, but on my nails it looks like they're descending from wide to narrow :p
Because of that, only some nails get the pink stripes hehehe.

So, what do you think? Leave comment below :)

Etude House Dear My Party Nails PBL601 Swatch and Review

Hey guys! I'm finally back again with more nail polish review for you :)
Today I have from my stash, Etude House Dear My Party Nails PBL601.

PBL601 is a greyish-light blue base with multicolor base, which I think looks a lot like China Glaze's It's a Trap-eze from the Cirque du Soleil line, right?

For this swatches I used 2 coats of PBL601 over a white nail polish.
It can be worn on its own, I usually use 3 coats on its own (click here to see it on its own), but after I saw JennySantio's swatches of The Face Shop Yoghurt Nails, I wanted to try out how this polish looks under an opaque base.
I used a layer of topcoat to smooth the surface :)

Formula wise, the polish is a bit thick, but it's still manageable. It looks so preeetttyyyy!
My friend wanted to buy this one also, but it's sold out everywhere! I hope there will be more in stock for my friend next month :)

I pre-ordered this polish from Zatura Scg months ago. The service is not really good, because they handle a lot of pre order stuff, and I'm just one of many. Still, I don't recommend Pre-ordering stuff from them if you're not patient.

SO, what do you think? Do you like creamy based glitter nail polish? :)

Beauty Buffet B22, S03, S08 Review and Swatches

Hello again everyone! Sorry I've been MIA these past few weeks, I went to Bali for my summer vacation!
But now that I'm back, I'll show you my newest addition to my ever-growing collection of nail polish:
Beauty Buffet Nail Enamel!

Beauty Buffet itself is a Thai cosmetics brand. When I passed the booth in MBK Mall in Bangkok when I attended a meeting near there, I saw the neon yellow and I know I have to get it. Apparently, the store was having a promo, for a buy 3 for approximately 3$! I regretted not buying more :(

First up, B22. B22 is a blue based grey. For these swatches I used 3 coats. It's a bit on the thick side, but after 3 coats it's pretty self leveling, which is a great thing! I bought this one because I don't have any grey polish lol :p

Next is S08. it's such a pretty light blue that reminds me of sunny blue sky!
For these I used 2 coats. On the bottle it shows a bit of mint green, but after it dries on my nails it looks more blue. LOVELOVELOVE!

Okay, now I know how everyone seems to complain about how hard it is to capture neon colors. Seriously, I think my camera hates me hahahaha!
Anyway, I've never been interested in neon colors, but that was before I met Karina, who loves yellows, greens, and basically any neon color except pink :p

For these, I used 2 coats of S03 over a white base to make the color POP even more.

So, do you know about Beauty Buffet? Have you ever heard of the brand?

Love,
Sovianaty.
