Marc Jacobs Enamored Hi-Shine Lacquer in 110 Gatsby Swatch and Review

Hello again!

This post is dedicated to the gorgeous Marc Jacobs Enamored Hi-Shine Lacquer in 110 - Gatsby.
I've always loved rose-gold color but never found a cheap (and available in Indonesia) nail polish that has the color.

The polish bottle is flat coin-shaped bottle (but way bigger than a coin, duh) with a black cap. Inside the cap, you can see that there's the polish brush with standard brush (not wide, not too thin, with flat end).
The polish itself is 13ml, around the same amount of OPI or China Glaze.

The application was... surprisingly disappointing for a luxury nail polish. The chrome finish makes it kinda 'draggy' and with my nails not completely smooth (lots of ridges), you can see it through the 2 coats without topcoat, but with basecoat underneath. If you have OPI Push and Shove from the Gwen Stefani 2014 collection and tried to apply it without the special base coat, that's exactly how I applied Gatsby.

I read on the other blogs about the formula and almost no one complains about it. Maybe it's just my application technique? Over 3 days after I applied (note that I didn't use topcoat), I found minimum chipping and that's an exceptionally good thing for this kind of finish!

I bought this polish for SGD32 in Sephora with the help of a friend who went there last month.
SO, what do you think? Is SGD32 really worth for a luxury nail polish?
